From very modest beginnings, in 1990, WJBM has grown to become a major missions outreach organization. "To God be the glory!" By the grace of God we are what we are. 1 Cor. 15:10.

When we began by supporting seven national evangelists almost two decades ago, we never could have imagined the scope of the ministry God would entrust to us. Those early days were extremely difficult and discouraging. We were pioneers, and were obviously "plowing new ground," especially in Southern Baptist circles.

It was only because of the lucid vision that God had given that we persisted. God had promised that out of such humble beginnings, He would raise up a great missions organization that would literally touch the four corners of the globe. Even though the vision seemed to be an elusive dream in those early years, Dr. Britt held to his belief that God was faithful, and able to bring to pass that which He had promised.

Today, our ministry has been tried and tested. Through the "School of Hard Knocks" we have discovered what works and what doesn't. We have developed a finely-tuned, streamlined organization that functions under four major divisions, all under the umbrella of W. Jim Britt Ministries, Inc.

"Global Evangelism"

This arm of our ministry has extended into over 30 countries, most of them Third-World countries. It exists for the sole purposes of evangelizing the lost, and equipping the saved for personal ministry.

We attempt to accomplish this through the following means:

* Holding evangelistic crusades in foreign countries

* Taking church groups overseas to do evangelism

* Assisting pastors and evangelists around the world

* Providing materials & workers to construct church buildings

This arm of our ministry consists of Dr. Britt's preaching, teaching, and writing ministry in the US. Dr. Britt is in much demand as an evangelist and Bible conference speaker and usually receives more invitations than he is able to accept each year.

"Helping Hands"

This arm of our ministry exists to meet the physical needs of Christians both at home and abroad. We seek to accomplish this in various ways:

* Providing large-print Bibles for the elderly in the U.S.

* Providing Bibles for Third-World Christians in their own language

* Providing food and medical supplies for Christians in Third-

World countries

* Providing needed materials for Third-World churches,

ie.,generators, bicycles, etc..

"Timothy Training"

This arm of our ministry seeks to provide quality theological training to men and women around the world who have answered God's call to ministry. We seek to do this primarily through our International Bible Institute (IBI) which is based on a Multi-level Leadership Multiplication Model derived from 2 Timothy 2:2 � And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. The mission of IBI is: first, to provide practical theological training to pastors and church leaders in poverty-stricken nations around the world, and, second, to enhance their ability to spread the Gospel throughout their regions, using their respective native languages and cultures, in order to further the kingdom of Christ.

The student body of IBI consists of leading pastors and church leaders from various countries around the world.
