INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE China: Represented US-based manufacturer in developing joint venture for construction of factory; advised numerous US architects and engineers regarding projects, offices and operations in China. Singapore: Represented contractor/supplier in contract negotiations for major addition to Singapore Science Centre; negotiated A/E agreement for new hospital. Japan: Established Tokyo branch office of leading U.S. A/E firm; negotiated A/E contracts for several large projects, including $120M resort hotel and theme park. Germany: Established Frankfurt branch office for construction contractor. Russia: Negotiated $235M in design/build projects for bank and office building in Moscow; other projects ongoing including $200M business centre and trade centre for Asian country. Saudi Arabia: Negotiated A/E and joint venture contracts for design of $200m mixed-use project in Riyadh and 100,000m˛ high-rise office in Jeddah. United Arab Emirates: Negotiated agency agreements and project contract for $100M office building in Abu Dhabi. United Kingdom: Established jointly-owned company for major A/E firms; Negotiated A/E contract for design of $75M arena. Ireland: Negotiated A/E contract for design of $300M mixed use project in Dublin; Established Irish subsidiary of German construction contractor. Norway: Negotiated A/E agreement and extra payment claims for design services on new $400M national hospital. Korea: Provide ongoing international general counsel services to a major Korean real estate services firm; Lead counsel in Korean M&A transaction; Represented Korean contractor in $1.6 million claim against U.S. Army; Negotiated A/E contract for large teaching hospital; Ongoing contract negotiation and advice for several U.S. architecture / engineering firms working in Korea; Opened Korean branch offices for two architectural firms. Indonesia: Established Branch office in Jakarta; negotiated design and construction management contracts for office towers and infrastructure projects. Other: Substantial "on-the-ground" project and business experience in France, Canada, China, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Luxembourg, Italy, Barbados, Central America (Costa Rica and Honduras), and Mexico.
