1989-1996. The Ellerbe Becket Company, Minneapolis. Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. Director, Ellerbe Becket Construction Services, Inc., 1994-1996. Primarily responsible for claims management, contract negotiations, and international legal matters. Established Tokyo, Frankfurt, Dublin, Amsterdam, Seoul, Jakarta, and Leeds (UK) offices, negotiated A/E and Design-Build agreements in US and worldwide for in-place construction totaling over $5 billion. Worked with London and U.S. brokers and underwriters in connection with international insurance program.
