Rail Port-of-Entry Project

SOUTH EASTERN ARIZONA RAIL CROSSING PROJECT
The Naco Arizona Rail Crossing Project outlines the needs and benefits of reconnecting the Naco rail access, thereby creating an immediate reliever port for Nogales as well as capturing a fair share of the Mexico, Central and South American, Far East and the CanaMex trade traffic.

The information presented here will make clear the monumential importance of working together to make this happen and the Economic and Community Growth it will create in both Arizona and Sonora.

While this site is under construction, please contact us for additional information at 1-520-432-2505 or via email at vallerealty@cybertrails.com

Currently, billions of dollars in potential cross-border trade is virtually being lost....
BECAUSE of the lack of sufficient rail access into Arizona. At present, there exists only one rail crossing between Mexico and the State of Arizona. This rail crossing at Nogales is congested and painfully out-dated and has no visible plans to upgrade. Reports indicate that because of the influx in trade since NAFTA, this out of date rail crossing is usable only for a few hours each day because of safety factors, thereby deterring the amount of trade traffic through that port. While the Nogales problem is superficially being addressed by adjusting rail-crossing times and constructing the Mariposa commercial truck entry point, the need to address a reliever port in Naco should also be considered.
