There are two lakes, an upper lake which spills over into the lower lake. There is fishing and boating year round. Swimming in the summer is a joy because the weather is beautifully mild. Some cabins have screened in porches, which can be used as sleeping quarters in the summer months.
National Reserve Land is bordering this property and the hills and mountains are forested with pines, oaks and other large trees.
No utility services are available and cooking and heating is with wood stoves, fire places and propane gas for water heaters and refrigerators. Lighting the cabins with propane lamps, white gas lanterns or candles is romantic and fun!
Each cabin has a patio with a cooking area and a stone walkway to the lake edge. The cabins are seperated and secluded by beautiful trees and hiking paths.

Taken in early October 1999, this view shows the beginning of fall colors that line the banks of the two adjoining lakes.

Three bedrooms and a large living room with a fire place big enough to warm the whole house makes this an exceptional cabin. The screened-in porch faces the lake and serves as an extra sleeping area in the summer months.
Each cabin has a full bathroom, kitchen, large living area and outside cooking patio.

The fireplace in this cabin has its own unique style. In each of the seven cabins, the fireplace is designed to enhance the beauty of the living area, as well as provide the best heating possible for the winter.

The unique style and personality of each cabin is shown in this picture of one of the smaller kitchens. Each kitchen is different in size, shape and appliances. This one just happens to be one of our favorites because of the stove, it's a classic!!!

Another cabin overlooks the lake with a screened in porch and a beautiful patio with outdoor cooking. A wonderfully rustic stone walkway provides a scenic short walk to the lake.

This picture was taken from one of the cabin porches. Every cabin has an excellent view, beautiful walkway to the lake edge and trails leading to each of the other cabins. However, we found it easier and faster to row across the lake to visit other cabins rather than hike the rugged trails!
