Hello Tim and Johnny. I've been enjoying your travelogue...with a smile as I read your adventures and imagine the rear end of the Volvo wagon gradually sagging under the weight of Johnny's arsenal. I've been tuning in to Car Talk hoping to hear a "live" update from you with some question about...how long it takes for (uh-hum...fireworks) to spotaneously combust when left in the back of a Volvo wagon with the windows rolled up while parked in the desert sun (answer...not long!) - what a picture that would be. Cherrie visited Ridgewood a couple of weeks after you all (y'awl)met on I-80/visited Pittsburgh on Day 1, and several people stopped her downtown to say that they had read about the McDonalds rendez-vous in Johnnies article. I enjoyed your visit here in Pittsburgh and was honored to be your first stop on the trip (location..location..location). I've still got a few cold Yuenglings here in the fridge...and it's going to take me a while to finish the remaining 3 cases on my own...so if you have the urge (or make a wrong turn) and find yourselves in Western PA on the way back, there will be a cold one waiting for you. Sounds like a great trip and a great summer for the Harpers. Travel safe. Cheers. Bill
