Is Jonny crazy for taking on all that time with Tim? What happens if Jonny decides in Pennsylvania that he'd rather go to summer camp after all?

Do you have any suggestions for places to visit? Places to eat? Routes to drive? Ways to stay awake behind the wheel? Would you like us to come and stay with you? Hello Tim and Johnny. I've been enjoying your travelogue...with a smile as I read your adventures and imagine the rear end of the Volvo wagon gradually sagging under the weight of Johnny's arsenal. I've been tuning in to Car Talk hoping to hear a "live" update from you with some question about...how long it takes for (uh-hum...fireworks) to spotaneously combust when left in the back of a Volvo wagon with the windows rolled up while parked in the desert sun (answer...not long!) - what a picture that would be. Cherrie visited Ridgewood a couple of weeks after you all (y'awl)met on I-80/visited Pittsburgh on Day 1, and several people stopped her downtown to say that they had read about the McDonalds rendez-vous in Johnnies article. I enjoyed your visit here in Pittsburgh and was honored to be your first stop on the trip (location..location..location). I've still got a few cold Yuenglings here in the fridge...and it's going to take me a while to finish the remaining 3 cases on my own...so if you have the urge (or make a wrong turn) and find yourselves in Western PA on the way back, there will be a cold one waiting for you. Sounds like a great trip and a great summer for the Harpers. Travel safe. Cheers. Bill
