This is a place for friends, relatives and anyone else to post a comment before, during or after Tim and Jonny's Big Summer Trip 2002. Let us know: Is Tim crazy for taking on all that driving? Is Jonny crazy for taking on all that time with Tim? What happens if Jonny decides in Pennsylvania that he'd rather go to summer camp after all?
Do you have any suggestions for places to visit? Places to eat? Routes to drive? Ways to stay awake behind the wheel? Would you like us to come and stay with you? Would you rather we just do a driveby and you can wave at us as we go past? Do you want to come along on part of the trip? If you could, where would you like to ride along?

Of course you and Johnny are welcome at the Pink Flophouse for wayward travelers, traveling adult children, and adult children with condemned apartments. Cody's room upstairs has become the guest room of late. Jeremias has used it so far this month for a couple of weeks when the backside of his apartment house collapsed and they condemned the building. Thankfully it was repaired and he moved back out. Cody came through on his way to Death Valley to go rock climbing for spring break. His buddies had an accident on the way down from Moscow, so he laid over here for a day waiting for them to get here. Thankfully everyone was okay, and they got off on their trip in one piece. Hopefully they will come back through next weekend in the same shape...
Jeremias is contemplating living on a sail boat for the summer and doing construction in the San Juans, or perhaps a stint with Americorps. Cody is applying for jobs far and wide, but so far it seems to be a toss up between crop dusting or working as a guide with an outfitter on the Salmon river for the summer. I live to live vicariously through my children and friends these days....
At any rate, there will be room at the inn. We should be around in July. My garden should be producing by that point, so come hungry and thirsty. And God willing by that point hopefully the brewery will be moved into the warehouse on S. 1st. Can't wait to hear about your adventures. Sounds like fun.
