This is a place for friends, relatives and anyone else to post a comment before, during or after Tim and Jonny's Big Summer Trip 2002. Let us know: Is Tim crazy for taking on all that driving? Is Jonny crazy for taking on all that time with Tim? What happens if Jonny decides in Pennsylvania that he'd rather go to summer camp after all?
Do you have any suggestions for places to visit? Places to eat? Routes to drive? Ways to stay awake behind the wheel? Would you like us to come and stay with you? Would you rather we just do a driveby and you can wave at us as we go past? Do you want to come along on part of the trip? If you could, where would you like to ride along?

Your trip looks great, but not nearly enough time in some of my favorite places in the midwest. I grew up in Ohio and went to school at Northwestern, and have family in Wisconsin, so all of that is familiar territory. I'd highly recommend the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Lots of really quirky stuff like John Lennon's childhood belongings and Kiss monster platform boots. Then head to the Flats for some of the Cleveland microbrews. The drive from Cleveland to Chicago is beastly boring, but once you get to Chicago, heaven! Be sure to take Lake Shore Drive into town, not the Dan Ryan expressway, because it's the prettiest view of Lake Michigan and the skyline. I could tell you twenty things to do in The Second City, but you'll enjoy whatever you do.
