COP 15 (Copenhagen 2009) did not design an ambitious post-Kyoto (2013) climate change mitigation agreement. An ambitious climate change mitigation program would start to significantly reduce the dangers of excess carbon (now > 400 ppm) in the atmosphere. China recently stated that it would start a serious climate change mitigation program. COP 17 was held 28 Nov-9 Dec 2011 in Durban, South Africa. COP 18 ( http://twitthis.com/tvd5of ) was held 26 Nov-7 Dec 2012 in Doha, Qatar. The Protocol was not extended at COP 18. The Kyoto Protocol expired on 31 Dec 2012. COP 19 was held 11-22 November 2013 in Warsaw, Poland. The Protocol was not extended. COP 20 was held in Lima, Peru from 01-12 DEC 2014. The Protocol was not extended.
COP 21 was for the signatory nations to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change U(UNFCC) while CMP 11 was only for the signatory nations to the Kyoto Protocol. COP 21 was held in Paris from 30 Nov-11Dec 2015. At COP 21, the Paris Climate Agreement was drafted and ratified.
I am an expert on the 2015 Paris Climate Accord and on the 2017 Chicago Climate Charter. I can advise you on the Kyoto Protocol, 2015 Paris Climate Accord, 2017 Chicago Climate Charter and on climate change mitigation. https://goo.gl/KQtMti
Since the host language for the 2015 Paris Climate Accord was French, my last name, STAVY, is in capital letters on my website. In French, last names are CAPITALIZED. This is my story and I am sticking to it.

I also know a little about Chicago and about Paris. I know important stuff like where some of the best red clay tennis courts are in Paris and where the best indoor and outdoor (green clay) tennis clay courts are in Chicago.
I made a poster presentation of my paper, The Increase in Global Solar Power Caused by Extending the Kyoto Protocol Unitl 2030, at Solar Power International 2013 (SPI-13), 21-24 October, Chicago, Il My paper is a counterfactual scenario. I am updating my paper for the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement and for the 2017 Chicago Climate Charter. http://www.nvo.com/stavy/spi2013/

I am no 2016 "Johnny-come-late" to climate change mitigation. For my American high school science project (1961-Niles Township High School, Skokie, IL), I tried to grow algae. The algae did not grow, but I was allowed to graduate (1962). I read the Club of Rome report, The Limitations of Growth, when it came out (1972). I was "ordered" to think about energy policy while I was an E-3 in the USAR 308th Civil Affairs Unit. To learn more about me, go to Michael Stavy's Background
The mermaid in the Copenhagen Harbor with wind turbines in the background. She attended COP 18, COP 19 and COP 20, but she was not happy with the results. She swam right up the Seine to COP 21 in Paris. She expects your family, friends and country to support the 2015 Paris Climate Accord.
I have written 10 papers on climate change mitigation. In 2000, I wrote my first climate change mitigation paper, An Analysis of the Policies Required to Earn Carbon (CO2) Emissions Credits When Generating Electricity at Wind Power Plants , WINDPOWER 2000, Palm Springs, CA., May 2. To learn about my 9 other climate change mitigation papers, go to Consulting on Climate Change Mitigation, the Kyoto Protocol, Carbon Trading and the Carbon Tax To read the abstracts for my 31 published papers/presentations go to Abstracts of Michael Stavy's Published Papers and Presentations
