The Beighley-Stavy House
Henry B Beighley built this attractive Gothic cottage in 1882. It is one of the few nineteenth century brick houses in Georgetown.
Mr. Beighley was a business man in the area. He owned a transportation company, silver mine and a stable near Floyd Hill.
Years went by and the house was sold to the Zaks family. In 1999, it was sold to Michael Stavy.
Anybody who knows who owned the house after the Beighleys and before the Zaks please contact Michael Stavy.
This watercolor was painted by William H Condit, the nationally known Colorado artist.
The image below is my Chicago neighborhood from space. The two cement "corn cobbs" are Marina City, Chicago, IL where I live and work.
