This is how we work with new clients. An initial parent consult, 6 coaching sessions and a parent follow-up meeting are bundled fees and vary by coach. All sessions are 50 minutes once a week. The initial consult ranges from $125 to $175; SOS 50-minute coaching sessions are $95 to $110 (with a 6-week commitment) and the Parent Follow-Up meeting is $95 to $110. If you work with a coach on Beth's staff (for example), the amount due on the first session is $790. All of this is clearly spelled out in a contract that's sent prior to the first session via email.

Initial Parent Consult

Parents meet with the coach for an initial consult, which is one hour in length. Please provide all testing results, assessments or relevant information for the coach to review in advance. This information may be emailed to beth@sos4students.com or snail mailed to:

The initial parent consult addresses parent's immediate concerns and issues, establishes the critical, ongoing link between coach and parents, and solidifies realistic goals for the sessions.  The parent consult is a forum to explore concerns, issues and review strategies that will be used during the 6-week process. It's an important meeting and helps shape the upcoming coaching sessions for your child.

6-Coaching Sessions

Students meet with the coach for a required minimum of six sessions. This is the length of time it takes to forge a student/coach “connection". This also provides ample opportunity for the coach to understand student issues and to instruct and implement basic strategies.

Parent Follow Up Meeting; Next Steps

Upon completion of six sessions, coach and parents reconvene to provide feedback, discuss progress and chart a course for the future. Many students derive the maximum benefit from at least one semester working with an SOS Coach. Duration of coaching will ultimately be determined by the coach – parent – student team.

Summer Coaching

We also offer summer coaching each year - an opportunity to get a head start for the coming school year.
