The Hugo Awards

The Hugo Award is named in honor of Hugo Gernsback, "The Father of Magazine Science Fiction." It is also known as the Science Fiction Achievement Award. It is considered to be the "Oscar" of the science fiction world. The Hugo is given annually by the World Science Fiction Society (WSFS).
