Training Services
What Types Of Training Services Does Security Education Systems Provide?
Security Education Systems began as a training practice and we started writing materials to enhance our training presentations. Those materials eventually grew into our manuals. Our consulting and training work constantly provides us with opportunities to discover new and better ways to get the job done -- while developing strategic and tactical solutions to problems that we are able to share with other clients. We still provide training programs:
On The Community Level
We participate in events sponsored by community agencies, public education institutions -- and our clients. We advertise open seminars addressing a particular topic designed specifically for a targeted group -- such as employees of financial institutions, retail stores and service companies. Our clients often contract for these seminars to be presented to their clients as a marketing tool.
As Regional & National Events
We participate in events developed by membership associations, governmental agencies and other client companies. These events may be representational speaking engagements, keynote addresses -- or profit-sharing seminars and conferences offered in conjunction with one of our manuals. Our clients often recommend us for these presentations.
In-House
We develop and deliver in-house training programs to reflect your individual style and content. You determine the seminar topics and schedule the event to suit your needs. These training programs are often used as the final step necessary to complete a project -- or as an orientation to new policies and procedures.
Telephone & Internet
We develop and deliver telephone and Internet training programs to reflect your association's or company's individual style and content. You determine the seminar topics and schedule the event to suit your needs.
What Types Of Seminars & Workshops Does Security Education Systems Provide?
Security Education Systems offers full day and multi-day training events -- and these seminars and workshops use components of our manuals as workbooks. We develop and participate in seminars, conferences and schools that feature either one or multiple speakers. Our standard full-day seminar titles include the:
l Conducting Investigations
l Interview & Interrogation Methodology
l Robbery Prevention, Response & Aftermath Techniques
l The Security Function
We develop and deliver training programs to reflect your individual style, content needs or sponsorship. You determine the training topics and schedule the event to suit your needs. Security Education Systems provides you with all original workbook text for your duplication and distribution -- and template marketing text for your brochures. Our manuals and software are marketed exclusively by BankersOnline.com. Please visit BankersOnline.com's Banker Store for information about purchasing individual titles or the entire Financial Institution Security Library.
How It Works
We offer fee-based, on-site training services. You don't pay any costly training retainers. You pay only for actual, billable time and expenses on a project-by-project basis. Using our own manuals -- or products created by other vendors -- we develop, implement or complete a variety of loss prevention, security and business continuity programs.
Our training services generally involve the research, development and delivery of a training program designed to address a particular topic. We work with personnel you choose and according to your time constraints. Security Education Systems provides you with all original workbook materials for your duplication and distribution -- and template marketing text for your brochures.
Security Education Systems offers training courses ranging from hour-long staff briefings to multi-day events -- with choices of topics that are appropriate for staff and supervisory personnel. Special presentations are also available for executives and directors. You may tailor a presentation using components from several course descriptions. We have also developed similar presentations that are suitable for many other types of businesses and community groups.
How Does Security Education Systems Charge For Services?
You may limit or expand our level of involvement according to your needs and budget -- and we encourage you to take advantage of your existing company resources whenever possible. If you request one, we will forward a draft project agreement and projected budget for your review.
Security Education Systems maintains a formal credit and payment policy to accompany our existing consulting and training fee schedule. We have established this policy to standardize our accounting procedures -- and to insure timely payment for services performed. Depending upon the project, we will bill you at our current hourly, half-day, full-day or special flat fee rates.
Terms for training services generally must be addressed either by routine correspondence, a letter of understanding or by a formal agreement. Please visit the Fees & Payment Policy page on our website for more information.
What Should I Do Next?
Security Education Systems invites you to compare our training services to those programs offered by other companies. We welcome requests for proposals and encourage you to examine all the available options that may be appropriate for your company. Our clients throughout the world have done just that.
Review the seminar, workshop and conference descriptions. Call our references and ask questions. Let us lead you through a simple assessment to determine your actual needs. Use the answers to make intelligent and informed decisions about our training services. It's important to us that our clients are satisfied with every product that we create and with every service that we perform. The first step in that process is to honestly evaluate your options. If you determine that our training services are not appropriate for you, we will attempt to refer you to other qualified professionals.
