Muhannak - Successful in the inaugural Breeders' Cup Marathon at Santa Anita in October.
Sixties Icon - Classic winner of the 2006 St Leger and clearly one of the best British stayers of recent seasons.
Jackpot Delight - Runner-up in the Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Derby last term and recently third in the Cathay Pacific International Cup Trial.
Poseidon Adventure - German-trained runner-up in the Gr.1 Preis von Europe in successive years.
Purple Moon - Achieved worldwide fame when run down in the final strides of the 2007 Melbourne Cup; has returned to action better than ever.
Mourilyan - Enjoyed a fruitful Dubai International Carnival at the start of the year and now trotting the globe for racing's richest prizes.
Buccellati - Progressive winner of Gr.3 St Simon Stakes for trainer Andrew Balding who won this race in 2004 with Phoenix Reach.
Dickens - German Gr.1 runner-up whose best display this campaign came on fast ground in England when finishing strongly behind Vase rival Sixties Icon in the Gr.3 Glorious Stakes.
Ambitious General - Runner-up in both the Rosehill Guineas and AJC Derby in Australia before Hong Kong switch.
Jaguar Mail - Progressive, lightly raced stayer from Japan and recently a Listed runner-up.
