Welcome to Dr. Paul's PsychotherapyHELP Newsletter!
When you contemplate falling in love with someone, are you aware of the need to establish connections at many different levels? If you are already in a serious relationship, you may be aware of how you connect with your partner, be it emotional, sexual, spiritual, mental, physcial, occupationally, etc.
Trouble begins when you and your love partner fail to connect in those vitally important areas. When fully connected, partners achieve incredible harmony and passion that results in true relationship success.
In upcoming newsletters, I will teach you some of the vital areas of my LOVE PROGRAM to help you achieve optimum relationship success and connection.
Are You and Your Partner's Spiritual Connections Mutually Activated?
In my practice, the most successful couples connect very strongly on the spiritual level.
It is important to remember that love, relationships and marriage do not follow the usual logical rules of society. There is much about love and soul mating that is irrational, impractical and mystical. As Love is rooted in soul, spirit, and self, you (just like every other person) need to feel a very strong spiritual connection with a partner in order to feel bonded in the transcendent world of love and marriage.
If already in a serious relationship, are you and your partner connected spiritually?
If you answered "Yes", then you are probably aware of how your spiritual connection influences your feelings and your relationship. A "Yes" answer is also an indicator that you can begin to evaluate the other important areas where connection is vital as well.
If your answer is "No", then you will have to evaluate the effects that such a lack of connection has on your love bond. What adaptations, adjustments, discussions, negotiations do you have to initiate in order to reach a satisfactory resolution to the question of spiritual connection? This newsletter does not intend to define your spiritual needs and your personal process for spiritual connection. Instead, it raises awareness of the need for spiritual connection between loved ones.
Do You or your Partner Suffer from a Personality, Mood or Anxiety Disorder?
A personality disorder is a hidden disorder. If you have any suspicions that you or a prospective mate suffer from a personality disorder, the best thing to do is learn everything you can about the various disorders that are particularly troublesome for relationships. You know the old saying, "My people perish for lack of knowledge" and ignorance of a mate's disorder or yours may lead you down the treacherous road of relationship hell.
It does not matter what kind of personality disorder an individual possesses. Disorders are disruptive and corrosive to interpersonal relationships and the pursuit of one's happiness.
Your best strategy for making decisions concerning disordered relationships is to become well-informed and educated. Go to PsychotherapyHELP and devour my books on Borderline, Narcissistic, Obsessive-Compulsive, Paranoid Personality Disorder, etc.
I do not recommend that you try to cope with these problems without adequate support, including counseling. Telephone Therapy and Online Counseling can provide invaluable benefits for you. To make it easier, you can call my office at 818 882-7404 for more information.
NEW INNOVATIONS: Telephone Therapy Bridges the Gap
A modern trend has arrived. No longer do you have to get in your car and travel a considerable distance for a therapy appointment. With Telephone Therapy, you can feel more comfortable and relaxed working through your emotional issues in the privacy of your own home or office.
Telephone Therapy brings the expertise of Paul J. Hannig, Ph.D. to you regardless of where you live or work. Therapy sessions are scheduled at your time and convenience. Telephone Therapy simplifies the therapy experience ... just when you need it the most. One phone call is all it takes. Call our office at 818-882-7404 for information.
The Benefits of Online Therapy: Email At Its Best
A truly remarkable online therapy -- email therapy -- is now available through PsychotherapyHELP.com. Practiced for years, email therapy has proven its success as a highly effective, creative, and powerful form of healing. Online psychotherapy is highly convenient. In the privacy of your home and office, you can communicate with your therapist at any time, day or night. Email therapy allows time to compose and reflect on your messages and responses, plus you have a record of communication to review and process when needed.
Many people find it easier to express their feelings and thoughts by writing and typing out their internal experiences on a computer. Email therapy offers more ease of comfort and safety for those individuals who have difficulty opening up and talking about themselves in front of another person. Online therapy can be done at your own pace as well. Responses do not have to be immediate, so that you can review and double check that you have covered all your concerns.
