This Hartsville SC hospital, a 116-bed full service hospital, is seeking a board certified or board eligible Hospitalist to join a one-man group. The hospital’s volumes are increasing exponentially; in 2003, the Emergency Department had over 27,000 visits and the occupancy rates are consistently hitting record percentages during peak periods. With all the growth, hospital is seeking a Certificate of Need to expand its current Emergency Department, as well as add more acute care beds. With the increasing number of medical specialists at the hospital and the Level III Trauma Certification, out-migration of the market population is held to a minimum.
