Don Proctor's litigation experience includes a wide variety of complex corporate, commercial and real estate disputes: business fraud, contract actions, dissolution proceedings, foreclosure litigation, professional liability claims against attorneys, accountants and other professionals, lender liability suits, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, litigation involving real estate partnerships, condemnations and other disputes involving real estate and real estate valuation, including environmental, zoning and landlord/tenant issues.
He also has practiced before the Maryland Public Service Commission, representing clients in rate making cases and in obtaining certificates of public convenience and necessity.
He has extensive appellate experience, having briefed or argued more than 20 cases which have resulted in reported decisions by Maryland's state and federal appellate courts, and numerous other cases which resulted in unreported decisions by those courts.
He also has had substantial experience during his career in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury claims, including products liability, medical malpractice, premises liability and motor torts.
He practices regularly before state and federal courts and numerous state and local administrative agencies sitting throughout the State of Maryland. He also represents clients in mediation matters and before arbitration tribunals.
