Susie Sugi

It is very difficut for me to speak about Susie because I have a great fondess and respect for her. I would like to tell everyone that we taught Susie how to quilt Hawaiian but...that wouldn't be true she already new the intricate technique of needle turn applique and quilting. I would like tell everyone we taught her everything she knows about Hawaiian quilting but that would also be wrong, she already had a pretty good knowledge of the art. Susie entered our classes already a master appliquer, and quilter but she craved more knowledge in the art and was able to blend into our class. I always tell everyone she's a lady with dignity and a fine sense of style and that she is our Hawaiian quilt ambassador constantly sharing herself and her love for Hawaiian quilting wherever she travels. She has also been a great friend and her quilts are pure perfection. Susie also has a Poakalani Teaching Certificate.
