| Frontal Plane Relationship of the Forefoot
- a relationship established by projecting the Calcaneal Bisector onto
an imagery line drawn parallel to the plantar aspect of the all metatarsal
heads when the subtalar joint is placed in its neutral position and both
axes of the midtarsal joint are fully pronated (locked). In some
instances, the line across the metatarsal heads is modified by elevated
or depressed metatarsal heads. The forefoot frontal plane relationship
may be perpendicular (neutral forefoot), inverted (varus), or everted (valgus).
