Neuroma Pad - A dome shaped pad placed in the metatarsal interspace or on the shaft of the metatarsals.  It starts at the proximal third of the metatarsal shafts and: A.  If it is placed in the interspace, it slopes and ends at the metatarsal heads. B.  If it is placed on the shaft of the metatarsal, itslopes and ends under or just proximal to the metatarsal head.
