The mission of Once-A-Rock Inc. is to provide the craftsperson with the best quality Newfoundland and Labrador lapidary material, supply collectors with rock, mineral, and fossil samples from our geologically unique part of the world, support local craft producers and continually search for semi-precious and precious stone deposits in the province.

Company Background

Once-A-Rock Inc. was incorporated in April of 1990 and owned by Garry Luffman B.Sc. B.Ed. The idea was born after visiting rock shops and mineral shows in Canada and the United States during the fall of 1989. The company has been exporting and importing rocks, minerals and fossils worldwide ever since. With meeting our customer needs in mind, Once-A-Rock Inc. has expanded it's repertoire to include craft items, Mineral Prospecting Services and Seismic Quality Control Consulting. Once-A-Rock Inc. is a company which also actively prospects for semi-precious and precious stone mineral occurances.
