Where does our water come from?

Oceano participates in the State Supplemental Water Project and our water is a blend of ground water from wells, surface water from Lopez Reservoir, and State water. Information on Oceano's water quality can be obtained at any time--feel free to contact the office to request current data.

Are We in the Flood Zones?

A large map showing the current boundaries for Flood Zones 1 and 1/A is currently on display on the wall in the business office of OCSD, at 1655 Front Street.  Also on this map are some of the proposed flood zone boundary changes that may occur in the future.
