Oceano Chapter of Kiwanis International
     The Oceano Kiwanis is a civic group that works actively within Oceano.  During the past few years they have contributed greatly towards the preservation and restoration of the Historic Oceano Depot. 




Oceano Depot Association

     The Oceano Railroad Depot is one of the few type 22 depots remaining on the old southern Pacific Coast Line, and has been preserved as closely as possible to it's original state.  It was constructed in 1904, and currently serves as a railroad museum and also a museum for the Community of Oceano.  The depot is usually open to the public on Sundays, from 1 to 4 p.m.  For further information, contact Oceano Depot Association President Linda Austin at (805) 489-5446 or www.oceanodepot.org.





Oceano Community Services District
The Oceano Community Services District is a governmental agency that was formed in 1981.  It provides governmental services, water, lighting, and fire protection to the citizens of Oceano.
