This disc chronicles the first 14 cd's from the Detroit-based label No Cover Productions featuring one song from each cd presented in the order they appear in our catalogue. Starting with the Detroit Blues Band and James Glass in 1995 No Cover went on to release Johnnie Bassett's first full length Cd featuring Johnnie as the Bandleader. This was followed by the release of Motor City Josh & The Big Three's debut Cd. A guest spot on Josh's Cd by Tony "The Godfather" Valentino led to a full length Cd project featuring Tony,
with Motor City Josh & the Big Three playing behind him. Next came a new act....The Blues Crusaders, short lived as new bands often are, but a very talented group just the same. Then in 1997 a very special event occured Willie "D" Warren and Mystery Train "Live" was released. Willie was a blues pioneer and one of the deepest blues musicians who ever lived. The Detroit Blues Band & Motor City Josh released new Cd's then another new act....Blue Spirit Tribe released a Cd with No Cover. On New Years Eve 98/99 five acts played and No Cover recorded the whole night. The result was the Cd "Blues at Midnight". The Bobby Murray Band also released "Waiting For Mr. Goodfingers" in 1999. In 2000 The Motor City Sheiks released "Sensational Rhythms". Now here is NCP014--Our 14th release!
The future is already here and No Cover has already released
