Alberta Adams: Alberta Adams; This is a 2003 release from Alberta Adams, Detroit's undisputed Queen of the Blues. AA is backed up on the disc by No Cover Artists, RJ's Rhythm Rocker's (NCP026). Alberta is a blues treasure with history dating back to Hastings Street. The opening track, Doug Demings' "Mr. Blues," was recently featured on a compilation CD put out by the 2005 Motor City Music Conference (MC2). Alberta is also up for the 2005 Best Blues Artist at the Motor City Music Awards.
