Welcome to the No Cover Productions web site! We are an independent record label from the Metro Detroit area specializing in all styles of Blues music, ranging from the more traditional Delta & Chicago styles to the current rocking Blues sound, featuring the best Detroit area Blues artists. Our goal is to bring Detroit Blues to the world!
Thanks to all of you who came out to Heatstock's Sweet 16! Thanks to the Tribesmen, the Staff, the Bands, Lightshow Bob, Detroit Videoman, the sound crew and all the locals who put up with us.
ATTENTION
For those who have not heard, there was a drowning at Heatstock in 2011. Just 28 years young, Joshua Sellers went into the unused pond on the property and lost his life. A senseless tragedy which will likely be the end of Heatstock.
This sad event has caused the police to look into how Heatstock was run. They found that the beer we were giving away at the show was not properly licensed. This led to charges being filed against Heatstock promoter, Mike Boulan. The legal fees and fines from this are going to be many thousands of dollars, which Mike does not have. Therefore, we are asking the people who have enjoyed this event to do whatever they can to help out financially. Clearly these are tough times, with many people losing their homes and jobs. We hate to ask for help, but ANY support will be greatly appreciated, so do what you can PLEASE.
