Popular Science Magazine hosted a special two-hour satellite media tour showcasing the PowerSki Igniter 2000 Jetboard as one of the hottest products and technologies from among the winners of Popular Science Magazine's 2001 “Best of What’s New” Award. Powerski International (PSI) shipped a Jetboard to the studios in New York for the special two-hour satellite media tour that included morning news show appearances nationwide.
The SMT reached far beyond its original bookings as stations picked up a generic interview and B-roll offered in a separate feed. There were 217 airings in major markets from coast to coast.
This format put Popular Science Magazine spokesperson Suzanne Kantra in the studio being interviewed one-on-one by reporters via satellite. On The Scene’s media specialits pre-booked the stations in consecutive “windows,” going to as many as seven cities per hour. Suzanee specifically talked about the Jetboard on the following stations:

The satellite media tour with Suzanne Kantra, "What’s New" Editor for Popular Science, won DWJ-TV’s "project of the month" honors.
