The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA), is the largest association exclusively dedicated to the assisted living provider community and the population it serves. ALFA represents over 5,000 for-profit and not-for-profit providers of assisted living as well as a diverse range of organizations involved in the assisted living industry.  The Montana Health Care Association is one of ALFA's 40 state affiliates nationwide.

ALFA is a powerful voice at the national Capitol, working to promote the philosophy of consumer choice and quality of life for seniors. MHCA members who join ALFA can take advantage of conferences, discussion groups, publications, online resources and group purchasing, among other benefits. Members also receive the award-winning "Assisted Living Executive" magazine.
