When a client provides information to the Practice, or the Practice provides information to a client, this information is to be kept confidential. The Practice keeps all types of client-related records, material and electronic, permanently secure - physically and electronically.

- Internal, client-related information is not shared with a third party under any circumstance.
- Statements or other data from confidential interviews or other confidential sources are not shared with anyone under any circumstance.

- Parties to mediation enter into an agreement to treat information shared in mediation as confidential. A mediator's notes are confidential.
- Client names, organizations, communities, specific locations and specifically identifying characteristics or stories are confidential.
- Individual, internal and engagement information is confidential.
- Interviews are conducted in confidence between an interviewee and the Principal; interview data are confidential.
- Interviews and other confidentially sourced data are reported on in such a way as to protect its confidentiality and that of interviewees and any other confidential sources.
- Confidential information is accessible only by the Principal.

security...

- The Practice's office is located in a building with 24/7 security staff and restricted access, 24/7 office and building fire alarm protection as well as controlled temperature, ventilation and humidity.
- Two computer systems: PC & Mac, and hard copy files kept in a locked file, are housed in a locked office.
- Electronic files, e.g., documents, e-mails, contact and relationship management information, engagement reporting and billing information are password protected.
- Access to hard copy and electronic files is restricted to the Principal.
