i wonder...

whether artist of these embroidered potted flowers with their leaves and
artist of this necklace strung beads of carnelian and flowered cloisonné
were/are young-older, happy-sad, healthy-sick, free-bound... and kind?

i know...
they created images of their choosing;
they love vision, colours, shapes, texture, composition, the unexpected;
they see, not just look; hear, not just listen...and share.

i feel...
inspiration in the stories they tell,
beauty in their visions,
pride in their artistry and execution...and love

consider...
accepting all these gifts wrapped in their creators' generosity of spirit;
letting them remind always: you are visioner, gardener, sculptor of your life;
accepting what nourishes your person, values, vision; rejecting what does not.
