To cherish knowledge is to know WISDOM.
To know LOVE is to know peace.
To honour all of the Creations is to have RESPECT.
BRAVERY is to face the foe with integrity.
HONESTY in facing a situation is to be brave.
HUMILITY is to know yourself as a sacred part of the Creations.
TRUTH is to know all of these things.

Source: Elder Leon King told me of this teaching and the Gallery of the Seven Grandfathers at Rama Hotel. Following an all-day meting there on December 17, 2003, I visited the Gallery. I asked a salesperson in the gift shop there for a description of the Gallery. She said they didn’t have one, but looked thoroughly in the back room anyway. She returned with a printed business-size card, with the name, “Native Pride”, on one side in the colours of the four races (red, yellow, black and white) and “…Teachings” printed on the other side.
