 After forty years of dealing in period furniture, we needed a change of pace. R. COOK CO. is the result. We built this shop several years ago. We have always loved the "Old English Library" look. So we had the shop built to reflect that love. We have had many wonderful customers and visitors who have felt right at home.  A pair of vintage chairs are beside a period chinese altar table. A period hanging cabinet above. As you see in the display, we stock riding and polo accessories. "They" knew how to travel. An alligator gentlemen's travel case with all the accessories, including a mustache curling iron. The suitcase is a GOYARD brand in excellent condition.  In the "they knew how to  travel" department, we always keep vintage alligator suitcases in stock. Also in stock are vintage alligator doctor's bags, unusual cases, portfolios and handbags. And speaking of handbags We stock over 50 alligator handbags at all times. And all our vintage handbags are cleaned, restored and ready to wear. This is a small sample of our VINTAGE LOUIS VUITTON collection and some of our HARTMANN suitcases and trunks from the 1920-1940's.The LOUIS VUITTON collection page has many more photos.  An eclectic assortment of unusual accessories. The skin in the background is a vintage zebra skin with just the right amount of wear. The table is Biedermier. On the table are various mounts. Also on the table are french iron 'bolls', and a leather gentlemen's travel case with all its accessories.
