Cell Biology & Histology

Welcome to my home page. I've set up this page so my students can conveniently access information about courses I teach, as well as to provide some professional and personal background about my interests and activities. The pages are updated and added to regularly.

A NEW VIEW OF CHANGE

People once thought that everything in the Universe remained pretty much the same. Now we know that things are not always what they seem. We do not feel that the Earth is moving, for example. Yet we know that the Earth is moving. It is rotating. It is also revolving around the Sun. The moon revolves around the Earth. The Earth revolves around our star, the Sun.
And the Sun itself is moving. All the billions of stars in our galaxy are moving. All the millions of galaxies in the Universe are moving, too.
The Universe is vast. There is much in it that we do not yet understand. But we do understand that all things in the Universe are in motion. And we do understand that all things change.
