The biological sciences provides a broad scientific education, which allows a graduate to persue a carreer in research or work in related subjects and in areas as diverse as scientific publishing or public health. Please take the time to look through the pages as they contain most of information you will need to know about the basic biology, cell biology, and histology, as a basis for an understanding of the cellular basis of disease. You will also gain an understanding of molluscan biology, vertebrate anatomy and physiology. Physiology is concerned with how living organisms work. Its aim is to understand the underlying processes and mechanisms that operate in structure from single cells to the whole animal. The emphasis in the physiology is on human body. The pages are updated and added to regularly, so it is important to check them.
