      The oldest and most highly regarded association of painters
and sculptors worldwide who convey through their art the creatures
that share our planet.  
     Jay J. Johnson has been a Signature member since 1990 and a
member of the Executive Board since 2005.  He has participated in
many of their annual exhibitions and museum tours. 
      The Society of Animal Artists headquarters is located in New
York City.

      The AFC is an international, non-profit organization of
world-class artists who share a common interest in nature
art and nature conservancy. 
      Members showcase their artwork on the AFC's web site
and at an annual exhibition held at the Hiram Blauvelt Art
Museum in New Jersey, while promoting conservation
through sales, education and special initiatives.
      Jay J. Johnson won the AFC's first annual "Medal of
Excellence."

     

       Built out of natural stone that blends into its hillside
location just north of Jackson, Wyoming, the Museum
is contains an impressive array of paintings and sculpture
featuring wildlife. 
       Jay J. Johnson has exhibited here annually at the
"Western Visions" show from 1991 to 2001.
