ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATIONS:
I created more than 70 black & white illustrations during the winter
of 2002 - 2003 for the book "NEW ENGLAND NATUREWATCH"
written by Tom Long.  Working on musuem board, I used a combination
of acrylic paint, watercolor, and pencil to achieve the desired effect as
quickly as possible (usually less than 60 minutes per illustration from
start to finish).  Most of the illustrations measure 5 X 7 inches. 
Another dozen measuring 9 X 6 inches are more intricate and required
more time.
