Past What's New For September 2004Past What's New For September 2004 | | September 30th 2004 Thursday! 9:30 AM It was Ledo Pizza day yesterday. It wasn't too busy, but just busy enough that I didn't feel like I was pressured to get to everyone. I got some good tips, and a few new people again that really loved the magic. Well, I got a call yesterday that the Teaching Class for The Art of Magic & Mime has been canceled. That sucks. That's the first time one of my classed has be canceled. PEOPLE~ you can't wait until the day of the class to register!! Besides, I knew it wasn't going to go over well because they messed up on the web and in the booklet only put a little blurb, nothing that would draw anyone's attention. | | September 28th 2004 It Tuesday! 9:13 AM Only TWO DAYS AWAY from The Art of Mime & Magic Class to begin. Ages 7-10 #168051* Thu 3:30-4:30pm Sept 30 Ages 11 -18 #168061* Thu 4:45-5:45pm Sept 30 (Please note: If you are older or younger then the ages listed, I still may except you!). The class are at Quiet Waters Park Visitors Center. Click here to register. I will also be performing magic at Quiet Water's Park's Arts Festival Day Saturday, November 13th 2004 at 3 PM I will be strolling a bit before the show. I will have more links once I find out more. I won't be performing as much at the Baltimore Inner Harbor now because the season has died down a bit. I may perform on some Fridays and Saturdays. | | September 26th 2004 Sunday! It's past midnight I'm sure. Today I slept in late and then Tanya and I went to Buddy's Crab & Ribs on Main Street in Annapolis and had an all you can eat breakfast. Besides Crabs & Ribs, they serve tons of other great food. It was packed as usual, so we ate at one of the tables on the street. Then we zoomed to the Baltimore Inner Harbor to see the Baltimore Orioles play the Detroit Tigers. We missed the first half then afterwards went with a few friends and hung out at the Hooters in Baltimore at the Inner Harbor and got something to eat. Yes, I got a few photos of some of the Hooters girls with Tanya. | | September 25th 2005 Saturday! 9;26 AM Today is a gonna be a very long day! So, I thought I'd say a quick hello before I dive into my performing world. "Hello!"
It's really late now and I just got back an hour ago or so. It's almost 5 AM and so technically it's Sunday morning, which I know I wil probably sleep in. I did a party in DC at a Penthouse suit in Georgetown at the Washington Harbour. I performed magic, did my "Robot" greeting people as they came in and even put on my Mime face at the end and messed around a little. It was a very fun and busy party. I met lots of people. Tanya was with me, but still has the feeling she doesn't fit because she thinks her English isn't good enough. It's better then most people I know. She had lots of fun, until someone stepped on her little pinky toe. OUCH! | | September 24th 2004 TGIF! It's now 10:51 and I just got back from seeing The Forgotten thriller. It was wild, so go see it! I have a very big day tomorrow with three shows. First is at Merritt Athletic Club in Annapolis for the 1st Annual Kids Fair. Second is a B'day Party in Serverna Pk, Maryland, and third is some Mime for a party in Washington DC at the Washington Harbour complex in Georgetown on K street which starts at 9 PM. | | September 23 2004 Thursday! Well, I have had so many problems with my computer and I have been soooooooooo busy that I just could keep up with everything that has been going on. Tanya and I did a show for the Department of Energy today. It's my third time there. This time we wen't last, and by that time half the audience was gone because they started the food early and a bunch of kids that were performing had to get back to school. Bummer! The show went well, all except for the Metamorphosis - Houdini Escape. As I was lowering the curtain, the wireless mic battery set fell and was just hanging from my shirt. I dropped the curtain then pulled up the receiver, stuffed it in my pocket. That was embarrassing, but nothing to worry about. Just a glitch in the act. Wednesday at Ledo's was fun, and there were lots of new people who stopped by. Also, DON'T FORGET, that my Mime-Magic lessons start next week! Thursday, Sept 30th!!! | | September 16th 2004 I'm so sorry I haven't been writing as usual. Sometimes life throws you some unsuspected curve balls and you have deal with it. So, you haven't missed much, okay, you missed a lot, but, I will try to write more often. This is my pre-New Years resolution. I could go into great detail, but I don't want to bore you with those details just as yet. Sorry I haven't even updated my calendar. I have also been having problems with the computer and my on line service, so bare with me, please. I hope to have my credit card billing up so if you book me you can pay by credit card. Okay, I have to go finish updating. See YA! | | September 11th 2004 Late! The shows at the latest Maryland Seafood Festival - (photos from 2003) went great! I got sun burned and forgot I was even in the sun it was so nice out. Then This evening Then Tanya and I performed at a Community event that went well, and on Sunday performed another show. Shew! It wasn't a busy, busy weekend, but it was busy enough. | | September 10th 2004 It's about 7:45 AM I'm performing at The Baltimore Inner Harbor ALLL day from 11:00 AM to 5 PM TODAY! Wow! I am soooo sorry I have not written in a while. Almost three weeks! I have been busy performing, busy getting ready for my Mime-Magic class, and took a fun Labor Day Weekend Vacation! I will write much more, because there is a lot to write. Just in case I don't write more this weekend, because I only have about 12 shows to perform, I will write more MONDAY! | | September 6th 2004 Wow! Tanya and I finally got away for the Labor Day weekend. But, this year there were a few snags that I thought were going to kill my trip. I found out my black cat Goofy is diabetic and now has to be fed special food and given insulin twice a day. All my friends were away or unreliable to help, so I call this Vet Tech that the Cat Hospital recommended. She was great. I felt relaxed to be away, but I tell you, it was a very last minute thing and I didn't think I'd get away. Goofy was in good hands. Anyway, I always try to go camping or take a two day trip somewhere. This year I purposefully didn't book any shows. I got quite a few calls, which I should have taken, but I didn't. Tanya and I left Saturday morning to go to Gore, VA. It's a spot I have been going for several years now. It's called The Cove, and is surrounded by mountains, two lakes and is quite beautiful. We went hiking in the Shenandoah Mountains and Kayaked on the Shenandoah river. Sunday was a beautiful day, all day, until it rained. I mean poured. I was upset, because the forecast called for NO rain in the Mountains. Well, it rained all night and I had put up a few tarps in the rain, so I was soaking wet. I didn't have any rain gear because I didn't think it would rain. Thank God I put a tarp over the picnic table. Well, as I was running around, trying to cover the tent with a tarp and secure the tarp over the picnic table, Tanya was trying to start a fire in the rain. YES! She did it and was so proud of herself. I was too! Well, it's good thing, because after eating dinner ( stakes, corn and beans) while the rain poured down onto the tarp, we moved over to the camp fire that was still going. It was really warm there, so we decided to roast some marshmallows and make some smores in the rain. Tanya held the umbrella and supplies and I made the smores. I was surprised I could still roast the marshmallows in the rain. That was the first time I had ever done that. Somehow, the rain didn't affect us and we enjoyed a whole box of gram crackers, marshmallows, and a big Hershey almond chocolate bar and made some awesome smores. | CLICK HERE TO VIEW PAST WHAT'S NEW PAGES |
