Just a Few More Thoughts To Help You Out!
| Have you thought of any other Ideas for your Party? I find that most parents only have me as their entertainment. That's okay sometimes, but depending on the age, some kids get so bored so easily. Variety is the spice of life and at any party variety keeps everything alive and moving. Adults, how many of you have been to a party, only to fine the same old things happening? Chips, dip, some music and most people standing around getting bored looking at the beer and wondering when it will run out. Kids parties are no different. I perform for several hundred kids parties a year, and before I have performed my show, I have heard some kids say, "This party is boring...I want to go home..." Really! Remember, this isn't your party, it's your childs, so bring it to life!
A three year old or an adult, no matter what age, you can still easily get bored! The goal is to have people leaving your party and talking about how much fun it was, how cool the magician was, and can't wait until next year. My goal? To entertain your guests with the best possible show so they'll remember me, my name and remember it was at your house that they saw me perform and had the best time. But, most importantly, it was best party for the birthday child, teen or adult. | | | 3 to 6 year olds are pretty little busy-bodies. I have performed for some three year olds who where so quiet and well mannered while others, who...well, had an energy level beyond that of the Tasmanian Devil's usual sugar fix. Every child is different and should be treated as such. Depending on which size show you choose will depend on how long they will be entertained. The Show Prices page gives you most of the info you need. Can 3 year olds last and hour? YES! They can with the right performer who knows how to entertain. 3 to 6 year olds can handle watching their favorite cartoon character for an hour...why not a magic show? Kids love using their little minds these days, especially with hi-tech computers now in most homes and schools. I love to get them involved with the show as much as possible. And when I'm done, they always ask for more, yes, event the parents, too! | | | 7 to10 and 11 to 15 At these age levels most of the games I list can still apply. 7 to 10 year olds love to be in control. Again, be creative, cause all kids love a challenge, and an adventure. Themes are fun and it gets the B'day child involved. Having the birthday child head the games can be fun, also. 11 to 15 year old aren't as much into playing regular games as they are into playing "video games" or other Hi-tech games, like WII, PS2 or X-Box. Some eleven to fifteen year olds think they are too old for parties or magic. That's because of what their parents may think they are too old for or because of what they have seen and figure that is all there is out there and they won't be able to see the cool magic like you see on stage or on TV. For those that still want the magic experience, most Teens want their party to be "cool" and I'm sure there are tons of stuff to do for your young teen child as well. If you are having me as your entertainment, you have no worries, because I get them using all the muscles of the brain trying to figure me out. Be creative and remember, this is your childs "Big" day, so ask them if they know of any games they'd like to play or suggest a few. It's always good to keep them active outside if the day is nice. Let it be their day to play the way they want. Good luck, and keep checking back for regular updates and photos to be added sooooon! | | 16 to Adults ( or to 99 and beyond ) - 16 year olds are at that "sweet sixteen" age and "super-bad" for boys and sometimes feel "magic" is just for younger kids and that they are too old to have a magician. I have to say, TOTALLY NOT TRUE! Hire me and they will see that the magic I perform is for all ages and it will change their minds. When people hear of magicians, orsee a sign that says "magic Show", unless they know who it is, they only think of the ones that perform goofy tricks that clowns do at Birthday Parties and for younger kids. They don't think they get to see the really cool stuff magicians do on stage or TV. Well I hope to break that stereo type by providing high quality shows with really awesome magical entertainment, for the young and young at heart. All my shows are non-age specific so ANYONE will enjoy it.. But, There are some things I do perform for younger kids, that I don't do for the older kids or adults and vice versa. If the show is for a mixed age group, then it will be performed as a "family" type of show. If it's for adults only, then of course I do an adult oriented show. All in great taste of course. I improvise quite a bit, and make my judgment on the show, content and what I see fit to perform.
Hope this info helps you a little, if you have any questions, just email me. |
