BluePoint Data Storage – Chairman (2001 to Present) and CEO (2001-2002)
- Brought in by investors to lead turnaround of Storage Access, a TSE-X listed, full service provider of managed data storage solution services and solutions delivered on a subscription basis.
- Led management team to dramatically reduce cost structure and burn rate, re-launch product line, simplify pricing, improve customer value proposition, retrain sales staff, launch new partner program, implement CRM and sales management systems and increase customers from zero in October 2001 to 26 just 12 months later.
- Improved capital structure and renegotiated supplier contracts and commitments. Restored investor confidence and established funding through to cash breakeven - expected in 2003. Company has an excellent reputation for services delivery.
Mediconsult.com - CEO (1999 to 2001) and President ((1996 – 1999)
- Co-founder, President and CEO of Mediconsult.com, a Nasdaq National Market listed leader in physician and patient healthcare information and services on the Internet.
- Through internal growth, acquisitions and an innovative business model, the company grew to 280 employees and US$23 Million in revenue, with offices in Toronto and New York.
- Earned many prestigious honours for ebusiness innovation including Internet World - Site of the Year awards in 1999 and 2000.
- Sold company to Andrex Corp, a generic drug manufacturer, in early 2001.
Consultant to IBM (1992 to 1996)
- Conducted several significant assignments for IBM in Canada and the USA.
- Projects included acquisitions, strategic planning, mid-market sales restructuring, competitive intelligence, channel development and go-to-market programs.

- Launched Vancouver based Information Technology consulting firm focused on successful deployment of PC and Mid-Range IBM technology.
- Grew firm from 1 to 23 professionals serving clients (including the Vancouver Stock Exchange, IBM Canada and the Vancouver Port Corporation) across Canada prior to merging with BDO Dunwoody in 1989.
- Led numerous assignments in information technology, service quality management, performance improvement, corporate finance and marketing and sales. The hallmark of the firm was developing and executing innovative strategies.
