Ian began consulting in 1983 while with Coopers & Lybrand and started his own firm in 1985. Sutcliffe & Associates grew to 23 people and merged with BDO Dunwoody in 1989. Between 1985 and 1996 Ian led numerous engagements in technology, quality management, performance improvement, corporate finance and marketing and sales. The hallmark of the firm was executing innovative, well developed performance improvement strategies.
