Who We Are

Hi! Welcome to Human Imagineering - The world's Creativity WebZine. We are an eclectic tribe of artists, writers, and generalists who have banded together to increase the creative numina of the world, to have fun doing it, and to help any who wish to join us in creating valuable commodities, services and spiritual expressions that will help us all take joy from our lives and see the future in positive and productive visions.

My name is Thomas B. Wallace and I started this website in 1998 to give myself a creative, and I hoped, a productive outlet. It, and myself, have gone through many changes since then but we have persevered in the notion that creativity can, and

should be productive, fun and enriching, whether physically or spiritually.

Like all productive endeavors there is a cost associated with setting such creativity in motion and sustaining that motion into the future. Some of those changes have been good and useful, others have proved to be dead ends without much to recommend them. None however has created any regrets, as each has taught me, and those who have joined me over time, something about creativity and value. Without further ado, let me introduce those others and then we will discuss what it is we do...

At the moment, I and those others involved who are helping me, are involved in reforming and simplifying the site to make it more intuitive and user friendly. We will shortly be setting up a simple mechanism for those interested to subscribe to our regular email newsletters which will link to various sections of the site and new materials... please excuse our work in progress and forgive us any stutter steps in the mean time...

Liz.jpg

Liz Radisich joined Human Imagineering early on, agreeing to contribute humerous articles on an eclectic mix of subjects. I have known, and loved Liz, since we were both about 8 years old, but our lives diverged in High School and did not really reconverge until I made contact with her in 2003 just before our 40th High School Class reunion. Liz is a wonderfully funny woman who has found her Prince Charming in her current husband, Tom Radisich and you can find some of her work in the pages of our WebZine. We hope to get Liz to continue to contribute, even to edit one or more of our sections as time goes on. I am convinced everyone will love her.

Peek-a-boo... This cute shot of Merlin her McCaw is about as close to a picture as we are going to get of K Wren Grahame another of our resident humorists, bird fancier and co-conspirator in the design and manufacture of precious gemstone and metal jewelry creations. There is a story behind K Wren and her joining of Human Imagineering, which I will tell at a different time and a different place in this WebZine, but for now it is enough to know that she was my High School Sweetheart, my first wife and now my partner in life and love and all things business, lapidary, avian and creative. We will introduce our viewers to her opus The Saga of the Devine Miss Sneaky Pants which is her rendition of the interactive training sessions and life of her Goffin's Cockatoo... but later...

What We Do

Well, now, answering this question is what it's all about isn't it? We do pretty much anything creative, whether we sell it, give it away, or just admire it from a distance. We write, we paint, we carve rocks and assemble them into meaningful wearable art, we creatively offer our skills to one another either in trade, or for sale... in short, we produce something of value and we share it with others in whatever way we can.

We also invide those who would like to join us to do so and we do it inexpensively. Most access to our site is free, simply because we want to share with the rest of the world, our knowledge, our discoveries, our art and our hopes. But sometimes value requires an exchange, a transaction and to do that requires exactly that. What we will do to assure our visitors that they benefit from such exchanges is simple.

1. We require anyone who sells or trades their art, services, material possessions, or whatever else with our other visitors pay a nominal fee for administering their contact information.

2. We require the owner/seller of any product sold or exchanged on our website to warrant their product for repair or replacement for any failure of workmanship within one year of the exchange.

Our mission is to provide creative people with a safe area to explore their own creativity and to exchange the products of their labors with others. To that end we warrant to provide sufficient general information to our visitors for them to reach satisfactory arrangements for such exploration and exchange.
