Seminar on Spiritual and Social Reconstruction by Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Father of Modern India, January 6,2007

The Sadharan Brahmo Samaj, Kolkata and the International Institute of Bengal Basin (IIBB), jointly hosted a seminar on the contribution of Raja Ram Mohan Roy on Social and Spiritual Reconstruction of India. Distinguished person spoke on the occasion that includes Professor Dilip Sinh; Dr. Sk. Makbul Islam; Sri Anjan Bose; Dr. Saroj Mohan Mitra; Sri Sajjad Fardous; and Sri Lakshmi Narayan Ray, former president of Sadharan Brahmo Samaj. Dr. Rashbihari Ghosh, founder and chairman of IIBB and environmental and civil rights activist was the chief guest and keynote speaker.  sri Ashis Kumar Pain, president of Sadharan Brahmo Samaj presided over the seminar.
