The Void
A poem about love lost
Where there once was joy . . .
there is now nothing but sorrow.
Where there once was laughter . . .
there are now tears.
Where there once was love . . .
there is now hatred.
Where there once was companionship . . .
there is now loneliness.
Where there was once hope . . .
there is now hopelessness.
Where there once was love . . .
there is now nothingness.
Where there once was love . . .
there is now solitude.
Where there once was love . . .
there is now . . .
THE VOID!!!!!!!!
To those who have sought for love, only to lose it.
Seeking, never finding...
Finding, never touching...
Touching, never feeling...
Feeling, never knowing...
Knowing, never loving...
Loving, never having...
Having......
Love Lost
My world,Tis a place of magic...
A place of colours and sounds
A place of beauty and wonderment
My world...
Contains love
yet, is not lost in love
My world...
Seeks the beauty of love
Seeks your love
Come into my world
Walk with me
Laugh with me
Cry with me
Come into my world
Colour my world with your love
Make it
OUR WORLD
Has all we will ever need
OUR WORLD
Is filled with OUR LOVE!
I know not where my love hides....
Is it on a mountain high, or in a valley low?
Is it lost upon the desert hot and dry,
Or deep within the ocean blue?
Is it there? Is it somewhere hidden fom view?
It was once my North, it was my South,
It was my East and it was my West.
I cast my gaze upon the sky,
Into the deep purple of night.
The sky hosts the heavens,
The heavens host the stars
The stars shine for every moment
Every moment that I have loved you.
Where oh where, is that one star?
The star that hides MY love?
Hidden from view, Hidden from you!
Come into my world,
Show me your love once again,
And I shall show you mine,
Our Love will "Colour our World!"
