We have been doing this for some 5 years now and continue to grow, even in this challengened economy we find ourselves in today. In fact, this is the best year we have had since we began back in 2002. Our past experience in electronics, microelectronics and lasers goes back to 1971 when we were using a 50 watt YAG laser to dice wafers in a semiconductor R&D operation. It continued in 2000 when we began to use a pulsed 100 watt alexandrite UV laser to selectively expose photo resist in another wafer R&D effort.
Today we use a 30 watt CO2 laser system that can cut, etch or engrave almost any material. Control panels are one of our specialties.
In order for us to be a compelling force in the local economy, we are developing some special offers, not limited time offers, but real money saving deals. We have invested in some powerful software that allows us to create some really stunning laser engraved/etched images on a variety of materials. Our favorite material is still mirrors, but we are adding black onyx, marble and granite as well as lead crystal and of course woods and acrylics. Leather is a distinct possibility as is certain cloths and fabrics.
