As part of this international Office Systems company, reporting to the Director of Marketing, this Product Specialist is responsible for:
- Training their dealer’s sales rep on Colour MFP products
- Supporting their dealer’s sales rep in the field on Colour MFP products
- Doing product demonstrations on Colour MFP products
- Creating programs and promotions that increase sales of Colour MFP products
- Steal Colour MFP business away from competitors
- Do competitive analysis vs. competitors for Colour MFP products
This role requires the individual to help our dealers: bring in sales, effectively position products, successfully sell products to end-users, and out-sell the competition. Product marketing responsibilities include planning/executing product launches, sales promotions, competitive analysis, pricing, profitability analysis, events, creating presentations/seminars, and lead generation.
You will: implement training programs and deliver training seminars that improve the skill level and product/application knowledge of dealer sales reps, and provide dealer sales reps with a solid grounding in products, applications, and sales techniques.
Experience:
You bring to this role a minimum of 5 years of successful marketing experience within the office automation marketplace. You have a strong foundation in:
- technology products
- understanding print/imaging environments
- providing pre-sale marketing/product support to sales reps.
You have proven experience and expertise in the areas of delivering training seminars, effectively communicating to groups, product marketing and providing effective marketing support to sales personnel, dealers and resellers.
You are able to effectively communicate your messaging through presentations, training courses, webinars, and in-person sales calls.
