Area Sales Manager - Mississauga

The Opportunity: Are you a sales leader looking to enhance your career? The Mandate: Reporting to the National Director of Sales, the Area Sales Manager is responsible for servicing and supporting the Dealer Channel within South Western Ontario and the Prairie Provinces. The Area Sales Manager role will provide valuable input into the overall sales strategy, particular to their marketplace and then work towards implementing the plan to grow the existing business. The role requires the individual to work independently, plan their own time, conduct business review meetings with dealers, assist in product training for the dealer sales people, provide manufacturer support on calls with specific opportunities while being fully supported by head office staff. Travel throughout the territory is required to be successful in this role.

 

Your Experience: You bring to this role at least 5 years of successful direct sales experience within the office automation marketplace along with 3 plus years of managing a dealer channel sales environment. You have a strong foundation in technology products, understanding print and imaging environments, and are able to consult to the document processing requirements in the market. You have the ability to be hands on while always thinking strategically. You are able to effectively communicate within all levels of an organization – from the “C” level on down. You have an established business reputation of being a role model, leading by example with solid values, integrity, ethics and trust.

 

Compensation: You will receive a competitive base salary, commission on new and recurring revenues, and an opportunity for a quarterly bonus as well as a semi-annual company bonus. Product (Colour) Specialist

As part of this international Office Systems company, reporting to the Director of Marketing, this Product Specialist is responsible for:

  • Training their dealer’s sales rep on Colour MFP products
  • Supporting their dealer’s sales rep in the field on Colour MFP products
  • Doing product demonstrations on Colour MFP products
  • Creating programs and promotions that increase sales of Colour MFP products
  • Steal Colour MFP business away from competitors
  • Do competitive analysis vs. competitors for Colour MFP products

 

This role requires the individual to help our dealers: bring in sales, effectively position  products, successfully sell  products to end-users, and out-sell the competition.  Product marketing responsibilities include planning/executing product launches, sales promotions, competitive analysis, pricing, profitability analysis, events, creating presentations/seminars, and lead generation.

 

You will: implement training programs and deliver training seminars that improve the skill level and product/application knowledge of dealer sales reps, and provide dealer sales reps with a solid grounding in  products, applications, and sales techniques.  

 

 

Experience:

You bring to this role a minimum of 5 years of successful marketing experience within the office automation marketplace.  You have a strong foundation in:

  • technology products
  • understanding print/imaging environments
  • providing pre-sale marketing/product support to sales reps.

 

You have proven experience and expertise in the areas of delivering training seminars, effectively communicating to groups, product marketing and providing effective marketing support to sales personnel, dealers and resellers.

The Production Solution Executive (PSE) is responsible for the delivery of  business results for a defined customer segment. Measured responsibilities include equipment sale revenue, customer satisfaction, and collaboration in the overall account management. This position requires the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies to grow both the installed unit and installed revenue within the defined customer segment.

This is a role requiring a sales specialist with a strong IT background, experienced in partnering and closing integrated solutions egagements with high level corporate decision makers, systems engineers and technology providers.  The portfolio includes hardware from a number of manufacturers, as well as, a number of software products and services that enable customers to have better control over their IT environment.

 

Integrated solutions will focus on consulting engagements involving Network Managed Service and Software as a Service (SaaS).  This company's SaaS solutions can include secure remote access, corporate data security,  mobile asset tracking and/or/desktop virtualization solutions.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Sales Executive will be responsible to drive a minimum of $5 million in sales revenue including SaaS and Consulting Services and to develop new Enterprise and SMB customers in the Toronto-GTA territory.  He will be required to work strategically and cooperatively with a team to win in competitive situations and further drive the successful adoption and penetration of  technologies and solutions into the corporate markets. 

 

Qualifications

    • handling bid and and contract negotiation,
    • background in account development, account management and project management
