The Annie Louise Williams McKoy Archives Research Center is located in the Catherine Davis-McNeill Administration Complex. Dedication of the Catherine Davis McNeill Memorial Archives Complex took place May 21, 2000 immediately following the Sunday Morning Worship with neice (Jackie Moyd) and nephew (Miles Brittingham looking on). The family, church members, and friends enjoyed refreshments in the Dr. Lawrence A. Miller Archives Memorial Garden. The Catherine Davis McNeill Memorial Complex, built in 1913, is located on the same site as Historical Evans Metropolitan African Methodist Zion Church (1801). The Evans Room, Room of Bishops, and the Rosetta "Pat" Darlington Family Room, located on the second floor of the building. At the entrance of The Evans Room, stands a "Catherine Davis McNeill's Corner" that greets you with a welcome smile. The room is surrounded by several pictures of past Ministers of the Church, a glass front doll curio of "Dolls From Around the World," enclosed glass trophy cases that hold trophies, books, old silver ware, T-shirts, and caps. The walls of the Evans Room contain articles of accomplishment by members of the church, and an artist sketch of "Father Henry Evans". The "Room of Bishops" focuses on Bishop James W. Wactor who was instrumental in preserving the history of Evans Metropolitan Church and the Evans-Hood-Wactor Memorial Garden. Bishop Wactor was the Presiding Prelate for the Central North Carolina Conference. This room includes several past Ministers of Evans Metropolitan Church who went on to become Bishops. Additional, a wall in this room is dedicated to Bishop James W. Hood who was among the first to become a Bishop after his ministerial duties at Evans Metropolitan A. M. E. Zion Church.

Ground breaking ceremony for "Hood-Evans-Wactor Archives Memorial Garden" took place in 1983 under the leadership of Bishop James Wactor. Bishop Wactor was the Presiding Prelate of the Cental North Carolina Conference.
Bishop Wactor's vision was a "Garden" that would be supported and maintained by the Central North Carolina Conference. The original name of the Garden was, "Hood-Evans-Wactor Memorial Archives Garden."
October, 2001 the Garden was re-named in honor of Dr. Lawrence A. Miller, a Pastor of twenty-four years at the 200 year old church.
