This scene depicts one of Oscar's favorite locations. Painted in the late 1960's, this 8" X 10" Iris Giclee reproduction,is an oil painting of Hunting Island Beach near Beaufort SC. showing his favorite little Palmetto tree. He later used this tree as a model for some of his other works. The tree was later lost to erosion and reclaimed by the sea.
