| Texas Alternative Assessments for Exit-Level TAKS | | This is the Commissioner's rules for acceptable Texas Alternative Assessments for Exit-Level TAKS. A senior student who enrolls for the first time (or has been absent from the public school system for 4years) in a Texas public high school after January 1 and meets all other graduation requirements may be exempt from specific subject area TAKS assessments as detailed in this document. Currently this document lists the required score performance required for exemption from the English/language arts and the math tests only.
